Texte, Textfragmente und Zeichen bilden die Grundlage für gesellschaftlich-politische «Aufhänger», die als Schriftblätter, Flugblätter, Transparente oder Bücher gestaltet werden. Das Schöpfen der Papiere, das Herstellen der Buchstaben und Druckformen, das Layout, die Gestaltung, die Herstellung der Blätter und das Binden der Bücher bildet die Grundlage. Bedeutender ist aber das Benutzen des Buches als Kommunikationsmittel. Die Konzeptions für ein Buch unter diesem Aspekt ist also unser «golden thread».
Texts, text fragments and symbols are what create the foundation for socio-political messages to be found in the shape of pages of writing, handbills, banners or books. The making of the paper, the manufacturing of the letters and plates, the layout, the design and making of the pages, and the binding of the books is closely associated with the search for contemporary communication options. The conception of a book on this aspect is so our “golden thread”.
